UMEDFI Holds Talks with Norwegian Maritime Experts on Crew Management Enhancement Program

The University of Makati Educational Development Foundation, Inc. has begun initial discussions with Norwegian maritime experts, Mr. Carl Martin Faannessen and Capt. Jøran Nøstvik, co-founders of Noatun Maritime, to co-create and offer a Crew Management Enhancement Program designed to address critical gaps in the country’s maritime sector.
The proposed program aims to strengthen leadership, operational efficiency, and compliance capabilities among Filipino licensed manning agencies by drawing from globally recognized standards in maritime training and safety.
