UMak takes part in PSPA International Conference 2024

The Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA) conducted their annual International Conference in collaboration with Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA), University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG), Ateneo School of Government and Carlos Hilado Memorial State University on December 5 to 7, 2024, where the College of Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) represented the university.
The PSPA Vice President, Dr. Ederson DT. Tapia, who also served as the event’s keynote, plenary speaker, and moderator, was accompanied by panel moderators: PSPA Board Member Dr. Sonia F. Pimentel, Dr. Rhene C. Tabajen, and Assoc. Prof. Pompeyo C. Adamos II, who also presented his research entitled, “A Local University’s Financial Management: Observation and Learnings in Sustainability.”
The purpose of the conference themed, “Exploring New Governance: Approaches for Sustainability and Administrative Resilience,” which took place at Roy’s Hotel and Convention Center, Bacolod City was to explore new frameworks in governance and address themes of digital governance, climate action, Asian management philosophies, public values, urban development, and leadership in the VUCA world.
