UMak representatives participate on PSPA International Conference
The Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA) conducted their annual International Conference in collaboration with Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA), University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP NCPAG), Ateneo School of Government and Carlos Hilado Memorial State University on December 5-7, 2024, where the faculty from the College of Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) represented the university.
With the theme, “Exploring New Governance: Approaches for Sustainability and Administrative Resilience”, the event that took place at Roy’s Hotel and Convention Center, Bacolod City aimed to re-evaluate the landscape of public administration into a more sustainable and resilient governance, aligning it to Sustainable Development Goals (SGD) by 2030.
UMak representatives were the Vice President for Academic Affairs and concurrent Dean of CCAPS Dr. Ederson D.T. Tapia, who also served as the event’s keynote, plenary speaker and moderator, accompanied by special program chairs: Dr. Rhene C. Tabajen, Dr. Sonia F. Pimentel, Professor Pompeyo C. Adamos II, and Professor Felizardo A. Plana.
