UMak moves towards enhanced Public Administration Pedagogy
The University of Makati (UMak) Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of College for Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) Dr. Ederson D.T. Tapia, the program directors: Dr. Rhene C. Tabajen, Dr. Sonia F. Pimentel, Professor Pompeyo C. Adamos II and Professor Felizardo A. Plana joined the Luzon Regional Conference: Revisiting Pedagogy of Public Administration, Management and Governance of the Association of Schools of Public Administration of the Philippines (ASPAP) Inc., held on September 25-26, 2024 at Zen Hotel, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
The conference organized with the University of the Philippines National College for Public Administration and Governance (UP NCPAG) and Nueva Vizcaya State University welcomed attendees with various discussions about education and research of public administration, governance and management.
Additionally, the event tackled the reassessment of pedagogical and curriculum processes in public service and management to accommodate digital transformation and interdisciplinary collaboration for a better landscape in governance.
