Faculty members from the College of Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) joined the PAhayag: Masterclass Seminar Series, held on February 17-21, 2025, at the UP Diliman Assembly Hall. The program was organized by the UP-National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG), Governance Reform, Innovation and Transformation Research Laboratories (GRIT-Labs), ASPAP, and the Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA).
Dr. Ederson DT. Tapia, UMak Vice President, CCAPS Dean, and PSPA President, delivered the welcome remarks on the first day and later presented a lecture titled “Shaping the Future: Trends and Innovation in Public Administration Education and Training.”
Also representing UMak were Dr. Rhene C. Tabajen, Dr. Sonia F. Pimentel, Prof. Felizardo A. Plana, Prof. Bernardino M. Pimentel, and Prof. Pompeyo C. Adamos II, who actively participated in the sessions.
The five-day event gathered over 100 participants and featured interactive lectures, research workshops, and learning visits to selected local government units in Metro Manila—providing a platform for educators and researchers to exchange insights on the evolving landscape of public administration education.
