UMak educators engage in the 5-day PAhayag Masterclass
The College of Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) joined the PAhayag: Masterclass Seminar Series formed by the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG), Governance Reform, Innovation and Transformation Research Laboratories (GRIT Labs), Association of Schools of Public Administration of the Philippines (ASPAP) Inc. and Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA) at the NCPAG Assembly Hall, UP Diliman last February 19-21, 2025.
Dr. Ederson D.T. Tapia, the UMak Vice President, Dean of CCAPS and President of PSPA opened the event with his welcome remarks on Day 1 and discussed his topic, “Shaping the Future: Trends and Innovations in Public Administration Education and Training” on the Day 3 of the event, along with Dr. Rhene C. Tabajen, Professor Felizardo A. Plana and Professor Pompeyo C. Adamos II who attended the masterclass.
With more than 150 participants, the multi-day seminar on the methods and trends in public administration education and research has provided insightful discussions and exchanges, hands-on lectures from prominent educators, researchers and city visitations to selected local government units in the National Capital Region (NCR).
