UMEDFI Rebranding on a Roll
The first month of 2025 has already proven to be productive as student interns under the Institute of Arts and Design (IAD) embark on UMEDFI’s rebranding project. This initiative, undertaken in response to the evolving horizon of education, reflects the foundation’s commitment to educational improvement. Guided by the end goal to provide faculty development and student growth, the rebranding process was designed to enhance the aforementioned’s identity and strengthen engagement with stakeholders.
The project encompassed key elements of the brand identity, including the calibration of a new logo that embodies the progressive vision, a persuasive tagline, social media launching and a fresh content strategy for both newsletter and annual report. Each component was thoughtfully crafted to communicate the foundation’s goals and achievements with greater clarity and impact.
In parallel with these efforts, the team successfully presented a proposal pitch to UMEDFI President Dr. Dalisay Brawner, treasurer Dr. Milagros Torres, IAD Dean, Prof. Mary Acel German, Prof. Rosa Wanda Motomal and Prof. Stanley Rovira on January 24, 2025. The presentation outlined targeted initiatives focused on partnership, financial outreach and collaborative opportunities within the sector.
Following the presentation, the panel provided valuable insights that helped the team refine ideas and broaden perspective— from institutional memory, emphasis on target audience, frequency of content release, appropriate terminologies to page quantity of publication materials.
Given the progress so far, the team remains steadfast in pursuit of re-establishing UMEDFI to achieve academic development. With strategic plans and collective efforts, the foundation is geared towards achieving new milestones and making an even greater impact in the succeeding days ahead.
