Two New Knowledge Products Launched at NCPAG’s Better Governance Forum No. 6

The University of the Philippines – National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) together with the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) and the Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA) launched two new knowledge products during the Better Governance Forum No.6: The State of Local Governance and Innovations in the Philippines on June 28, 2024, at the International Center for Public Administration – National College of Public Administration and Governance (ICPA-NCPAG).

The two knowledge products titled “Innovations and Excellence: Understanding Local Governance in the Philippines (2nd Edition)” by Dr. Alex B. Brillantes, Jr., Professor Emeritus of UP-NCPAG and Secretary-General of EROPA, and Mr. Karl Emmanuel Ruiz, Librarian of UP-NCPAG, was officially presented to the public.

Furthermore, the 2nd knowledge product titled, “Phronesis, Knowledge Creation and Public Administration: Three Cases on Amalgamation and Transportation in the Philippines” by Dr. Alex Brillantes, Jr. and Dr. Lizan E. Perante-Calina, Dean of the Graduate School of Public and Development Management, Development Academy of the Philippines, was also launched on the said date. The printing and publication of the knowledge books were supported by the University of Makati Educational Development Foundation, Inc.’s financial assistance program.
