CCAPS Showcases Research at ASPA 2025 Conference

Delegates from the University of Makati’s College of Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) successfully presented two research papers at the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) 2025 Conference, held from March 28 to April 1 in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ederson DT. Tapia, UMak Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Sonia F. Pimentel, Dean of the College of Governance and Public Policy, presented “Leadership Challenges in the 21st Century: Selected Cases of Women Mayors in the Philippines.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Rhene C. Tabajen, Associate Dean of CCAPS, presented his paper on “Identifying Public Service Motivation Among Government Employees in the Philippines.”
The ASPA conference gathered public administration scholars and practitioners from around the world to exchange insights on the theme “Not Robots Yet: Keeping Public Servants in Public Service.”
